Grown up fancy dress ideas (relay for life)

A friend and I have signed up for a beach ride in aid of Relay For Life- there is a colour theme of purple and rather than just wear a bit of purple we have decided we may as well go the whole hog and go in full fancy dress so we can look fantastic as we face plant the sand... but what as?? Any ideas gratefully received! Our ponies are about the same height and build except friends is grey and mine is black so a nice contrast- friend and I aren't a million miles apart size wise either!

Easily done, with random purple stuff from charity shops, and a red hat silk

Go as a grape?
Get lots of purple balloons and tie them to yourself! Then you could bandage your legs in purple (or red bandages to represent red wine!) as ŵell
Added benefit of a multiple air bag as well lol
