Growth from 3 yrs

Hi

Similar to post below but just wondering whether anyone has any thoughts on how much more this pony will grow. He is 13hh at the moment and is 3yrs old. The vet has looked at his teeth and says that he is has his 3 yr old teeth but is not yet 3.5 yrs.

Unfortunately we do not know anything about his breeding.

I have no idea. I have a 14.2 who was 14.2 at bang on 3years old. also have a 17.2 who was 16.3 as a 5yo.

He looks more like a 2yo to me.... you certain he is 3!

My 3yo was all gangly like hat, some just mature at different speeds.

He was 15.3 at 3, and now at 4 andabit he's 16.2!

We are hoping he will make at least 13.2hh.

We are pretty sure he is 3 as that is what two vets have said but I agree he is very gangly. We have had him for about 8 weeks. We are long reining him at the moment and leading him out on the lanes but will probably hold off breaking him until he has filled out a bit more.

He is very good and seems to take everything in his stride.
