Growth on sheath

I noticed today a growth on my boys sheath. Theres a couple, one looks like a bud on a plant, is white and a couple of cm's long. The other is a small white circular patch which Im presuming will grow like the other. The arent scaley and they arent sore.
I will get the vet to have a look but just wondered what they are?

I'm interested to hear the replys on this too. My friends Horse had the same thing appear last week. I had the vet up Yesterday anyway so she was going to wait til then to ask vet to have a look. But the growths have both gone. So there was no need for vet to look at him.
