Growths - please help.

Hi peeps, got a question. I noticed yesterday, whilst giving my boy his bath, that he has a big growth on his belly, right in the middle underneith. It looks like a swollen teet. Its rock hard but he doesn't flinch when you touch it. Its covered in his hair and its black in colour.

I will take a pic of it tonight. Its the first time I have noticed it. It could have been there for ages as its in a place where you don't touch unless you are doing something specific in that area. All the other times I have groomed him I haven't noticed it. Plus he's lost all his coast now so it would have been buried before.

Any ideas?

Its just under 1 cm long and .5cm wide. Its like a swollen teet. Not sure if its a fly bite - could be but there is no evidence of an entrance where the fly would have bitten at.

You wouldn't really see an entrance hole or anything the flybite would be so small

My guess would be a flybite, you could try putting some anticeptic cream on it to see if it draws anything out

I am hoping you are right. I would hate to think its anything sinister.
