Landlord and neighbour are doing a tidy-up of my garden.

Girl dog: THIS IS AN OUTRAGE HOW DARE YOU, BEGONE INTRUDERS! DEATH TO TERRIBLE TRAILER AND SATANIC STRIMMER AND THINGS WHERE THINGS SHOULDN'T BE!

Boys: Oh hai, men in garden, going for walk now, laterz. Oh you're still here, PLZ leave a nice pile of leaves to jump in.

I'm glad I keep the fighty one next to my bedroom ?

I find bitches are rude, opinionated and have a lot to say about nowt.

living with madam is like paranoid mad eye moody out of the potter books. She sees death omens and attackers everywhere. With a particular loathing of our window cleaner the moment he steps foot on his ladder, prior to that she’s quite fond of him.

I have 3 bitches and a dog
Bitch one Maz the lurcher couldn't be less intense if she tried.
Bitch 2 Reeva Peeva Pants, very jntnese, takes work very seriously but loves life, other half says when I stroke her she melts like she just wants to be part of me, a very sweet one person dog.
Bitch 3 Belle, very serious, can be aloof, doesn't always work as a partnership but on a good day is amazing, took over 2 yrs to bond at all
Dog 1 my Cap a very very sweet oaf, loving, fun, submissive twit, managed to fly off the quad the other day and stood at the side of the road, eyes wide, tongue hanging out, holding a leg in the air, 2 minutes later after being carried to the quad he was hurtling round like nothing had happened. He could have an accident in a cotton wool ball he is so clumsy.
Other halfs crew are all very different too.

Our neighbour is having some work done and has scaffolding up, with workmen coming and going at all hours. The bitch firstly doesn’t care a jot about strangers, and secondly is as deaf as a post; small dog has been on patrol now for a week because there is a MAN on the ROOF and CONSTANT VIGILANCE is required. ?

When it comes to dogs it's bitches all the way, the boys are too daft for my liking. I have collies. For horses i prefer geldings.

My 7yr old bitch wont tolerate bolshy or over the top behaviour, she is often referred to, at home, as 'the fun killer'!

The 6month old puppy is a mess, as one should be at 6 months, lol! She can be any kind of crazy at any time of day. I think she will end up sensitive but ok about the world but for now its ... well the brain is a mess, lol!

I prefer my boys. They want to work with me and are less complicated though everyone has needed different approaches to their training.

Freddie is the first bitch of mine with whom I've truly bonded. The others I loved but never had that bond.

As far as being noisy and alerting, Fred yells at people walking down the street and delivery vehicles turning around at the end of the street. Both dogs tend to ignore food deliveries. So much for being useful in the home deterrent department. Though I have had people working on things around the house telling me that they're glad the dogs couldn't get out.
