I could have killed both of mine this morning so am currently looking for someone stupid - I mean lovely - enough to take them off my hands?!
I walked in to find them both up against the bars with Omar holding onto Hovis' rug and Hovis wriggling backward out of it. They both looked like naughty school boys - particualrly when on closer inspection it became clear they'd ripped the fastener off the chest piece of hovis' stable rug. I was not amused.
Hovis then nicked my gloves, Omar knocked my tea over and drank it, they nicked the broom and fork and threw then at the horses opposite, they decided they wanted to play fight as we were all in the gangway between the stables - all this before we got out of the door.
Omar next decided that the shadows in the driving sleet and wind were terrfiying so wouldn't move. After much swearing he finally walked on, cowering against Hovis like a shetland pony rather than the strapping 17.1HH ID he is. They then decided that neither of then were walking in puddles today so either i was squashed between them both or having my arms yanked out as these two fairies refused to get their feet wet.
In the field I let hovis off first where upon he promptly got hold of omars lead rope and wouldn't let go, even as i was removing Omar out of it.
Eventually we got ourselves untangled and I left them tanking up and down the field together looking highly amused with themselves.
All this at 6am in driving sleet. Just what i needed this morning.
so...... anyone want them?
