Grrr Entrance to Bridleway blocked by fly tippers !!

The main entrance to our local bridleway has been totally blocked by fly tippers overnight - someone has dumped about 100 tyres!! It's disgusting!!

How would I go about reporting it? Is it the council or is there a special department for bridleways?

It's the local council environmental team. If you go on your local council website there is usually a form for reporting it there.

Mine (south Norfolk) are usually really quick at picking it up, lesst han 24 hours the last time I reported fly tipped rubbish.

it could be worse, Ive been blocked by 2 pay and display machines before......and broken glass, asbestos, ice cream refridgerator units, burnt out cars, etc etc! def the council, online is good as you have a record of when you told them about it, if you do it by phone they sometimes 'have no record' when you chase them up....
Tyres can make good xc jumps tho

Ditto that, take a van/trailer and take what you want

Contact the Rights of Way Dept at your local council.
Also contact your local bridleways group. They may have a website for reporting blocked bridleways etc.

It sounds like a dodgy garage or something dumping a load of tyres!! I would get onto the council ASAP. Bradford council are pretty good, they have a section on their website and then they usually come within 24 hours. Don't know about my new council round here - they seem a bit poo at everything else...
