Got a phone call thursday evening to say the my horse and pony had got out.Thankgoodness the man up the lane got them into the\ farm drive,blocked the gate and when I got there they were happily grazing,so had to put them back in the field. How they got out???? We think someone got the field gate open(now been fully re\ checked and still padlocked.) and let them out,because if they went thru the hedge into the fields next to theirs,theyd still been there grazing. Well there is now a electric fence behind the gate and along the sides of field. Did report to police but they DIDNT give me a crime ref number. People living in the lane and around are keeping an eye and one lady is going down in the dark with a torch to make sure nowone has been there.and the no gates are open.
Luckily they didnt go on the main road.
