2'3 isnt a piddler!!!! I think times are just hard at the moment in every respect... have you tried horsemart though? i get the impression cheaper horses sell well on there!
Take her to a warrented sale like Leominster..the next one is 20th june..explain in the catalogue that she failed a 5*..i'm assuming it was 5* as i can't imagine ANYTHING failing a 2*!!..
Is sold as a Happy Hack/Light jumping and i'd bet you'd get around 1k for her...
I have looked at bombproof horses not suitable for jumping before, and your price sounds pretty close to what they were asking.
BUT for those, the owner was able to tell me exactly what the problem was that prevented jumping, potential limitations it could have for other uses (work on hard ground, dressage etc.) so I was able to assess the full impact of the problem indicated by the "no jumping" description. I would have run a mile if I had been told that the vet had said it was some kind of conformational fault, but the owner hadnt bothered to ask for more information. Point number one, therefore, is find out what is wrong with your horse, give brief explanation in ad and make sure you can answer any questions buyers have about the problem.
Secondly, from the tone of your posts I wonder if you are getting a bit pushy with your potential buyers because you are desperate to sell. With a horse with known medical issues I would be particularly worried by being hurried to a decision because of the thought that you might be trying to unload it quickly whilst it was still sound.
Some people dont call afterwards because they are uncomfortable about being interogated about what they didnt like about the horse, not because they werent genuinely interested in the first place. If you can get contact numbers for people before they turn up, you could then call them a few days after the visit to see if they have decided yet, and letting them know that they are welcome to come for a second look; if they are not interested you can then try to find out what they thought was wrong, and see if you can fix it for the future.
The market is VERY slow at the moment, however I would be put off by the 'conformational' fault that prevents her jumping, can you explain in more detail?
