we have our little mare up for sale & the ad clearly states she is for sale due to NOT being the childs pony we got her for & that she has been restarted & needs a competant teen or light adult to sort out her issues.

so why have i had 9 phone calls from people looking for a "nice pony" for their small child & the first couple that turned up to view her told their 5yo daughter to get out the car & "go for a spin!" this little tot looked terified & was kitted out head to foot in brand new kit (most still had labels on).

GRRRRRR!!!!
all i want is to find her a nice home where she an be loved & have a job.

Know exactly what you mean.

I advertised my NF as 'not suitable for novice' and later in ad 'suit competitive teen / small adult' and also commented on the fact that he is strong, green for his age etc etc.

Wasn't expecting many replies as most teens / adults don't seem to want a 14.1hh NF but got about 7 or 8 replies from ppl wanting a PC pony / second pony for a child then got the hump when I said there wasn't really much point in them coming to see him!!!

I do wonder sometimes if parents get blinded as to there childs ability in the saddle.

Shame they waste your time tho.

just annoying as id dragged 3 small children out to let them come to view & then the bloke (dad i assume) started ranting that id wasted their time.
