...when they're boasting about their child's riding ability
My Mum's friend has two grandchildren that live very near the yard and as they've been riding for nearly two years I agreed to let them share Cop once she'd been broken in. Was assured that they were great riders, very confident etc. Anyhoo - saw them ride last night and OMG
The poor RI - I have never seen kids with so little balance. They have to bve kept on the lead rein or they gallop off but they just can't stay on.
So now I'm left with a pony I'm abt to break in and no one to share her
They would have been ideal because I know the family well.... I'm tempted to lose a bit more weight and just ride her myself.
