Someone had arranged to come and see about sharing my horse yesterday. I just don't have enough to time to ride as mch as she needs (for her weight issues
!) so thought it'd be great to get someone to ride her during the week for me. They didn't bother bloody turning up! I waited for half an hour, tried ringing and text them but have still heard nothing from them! How rude
! Is it really that difficult to just text and say you can't make it?!?!
Anyway, seens as I had horse in, groomed and looking lovely, I took advantage of the prearranged babysitter (MIL) and took her out for a little ride myself. Now she hasn't been ridden, at all, since the end of November, so I was a little nervous but she was an absolute star. She had a little about-turn at the sight of a flock of seagulls and shied at a sheep in the hedge, but other than that she was perfect! My little star!
Now I'm not sure I can be ar$ed getting a sharer, seems like it might be more bother than it's worth, and that's before it's really even started!
Think I will just take her shoes off (may as well save money
) and let her fester in the field for a couple more months then get her back into some proper work in the spring/summer when I can ride more.
Weight Watchers cakes for all, if you got this far!
