Moon got kicked on her bum day before yesterday and is hopping lame

She only has one more event left this season and thats next Monday so fingers crossed please everyone. She's missed 2 vital pieces of canterwork and it's a huge stamina test so I'm really disappointed.

And today Cruiser was at an event and knocked himself coming round a corner in the sj so my sister had to retire him at the next fence. Hopefully it's nothing serious, it's just darned annoying!
 
My fingers are crossed for you. I know how you feel. Things start coming together then something always comes along to disrupt things. I hope she's OK for your event.

Oh no, what a pain. Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery. Hope Moon gets her next run- she sounds like she is flying at the moment! Are you doing an autumn 3DE on her?

I'd love to but I start a new job 1st September and I need to concentrate on that for a bit. Aim will be Hartpury 2* next year if we can cram in a couple of CIC**s first.
Thrilled with how she has taken to intermediate though- be nice to try Springhill too!

how is grinder will you be keeping him in retirement?

Grinder will have another 6 months off and then we'll bring him back into work. If he's still not a happy bunny under saddle then he'll be PTS, we dont have enough land or money to keep him long-term

He's just come back in from his summer holiday and is coming into work, feeling very well

He goes back to college mid-september to scare a new batch of students.

We were half thinking of taking Cruiser but I dont think we'll bother. Possibly going to go abroad next year, fancy a 3 day holiday!
