never have i ever had a problem with them when ordering stuff for fox. things have always came on time and in perfect nick.

but of course i order something for myself and its a whole other story! I ordered myself a new hat, not on the cheap either, and paid for express delivery. I ordered it late in the afternoon, so i knew it wouldnt be there the next day, but definitely the day after.

No. 4 days later it arrived. Yay thought me. No. Opened the box to find the actual box that contained the hat all bashed to bits. Upon inspecting the hat i noticed there were a few scratches on it, there was a sticky area at the back where i suppose some sort of brand sticker or something was supposed to be and a bit of padding was missing. I was so desperate for a new hat i thought to myself, its only some wee things it will still do the job. Guess what? NO. IT WAS THE WRONG BLOODY SIZE!

so i emailed the company and told them the above and they agreed for the hat to be picked up by them before 5pm today. Grand. NO. 6pm, the hat is still sitting in my hall in the box, my horse hasnt been seen to because no one will be home if i leave to go to the farm and i dont want to miss the pick up. raging because they will not refund my money until they get the hat back, yet they have failed to pick it up, and i dont have the money to buy another one!

WHAT A JOKE!! suppose this is what i get for treating myself eh! sorry for the rant!

How annoying!

it really is!

Blame the courier not Robinsons.

Shows why hats should not be bought by post

the hat was still in bad condition, it was in 2 boxes. it was the actual branded box that the hat was in that was damaged, not the big cardboard one that contained both. i dont think the courier is to blame for the hats condition, but they are to balme for being late!

and i agree, i wont be buying one online again!

That is annoying, Robinsons is one of my favorite horse shops though. I've been going for like 20 years and I don't think they've ever pissed me off so that's blooming good going really.

I have to get hats by post, no where local stocks the ones I use anymore. :(

mine too, ive never had an issue with them before! been using them for years too! so disappointed :(

ah thats no use really :(

I feel your pain .

I bought 2 sets of boots from them, to make a matching set.

all 4 were to be XL. They sent 2 L and 2 XL. Called them and they said just return them, However - they no longer stock XL ones

So I sent them, and Royal mail lost them FFS!! so now im going through a royal mail dispute trying to get the money back for the boots that robinsons sent that were the wrong size

oh god what a disaster! ive honestly never had an issue with them til now! i wouldnt be so angry if i didnt really need the hat!

Moana - how can the courier be to blame for the hat being the wrong size....? ;)

^^this :D I once ordered a pair of jods and received a hat in the wrong size instead :p. They were adamant that I must have ordered a hat. Even if I had done, why would I have ordered a size that didn't fit me?

Have to say though, they were very efficient at sorting it out once they accepted the mistake was at their end :)
