Grumpy girl

My 6 yr old ish mare has had a personality transplant. I have had her for nearly 5 months and she is my first horse. In the past few weeks she has become realty grumpy and occasionally quite aggressive. This started when a new gelding moved into the block she is in. She was always easy to work with on the ground now she is nippy and tries to kick especially when changing rugs/ tacking up. I thought she was in season but this has lasted a few weeks now. Her behavour is quite inconsistent she seems better in the mornings.
I was thinking of trying oestress in case it was her hormones.any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

My friends mare always was terrible when it came to her first season of the year. then she would settle. Could be that. Could be grass coming through!

i had a very hormonal Tb, i called Global Herbs and they recommended a mix of suppliments for her, which i have to say solved my issues in the spring!
