Anyone off to gt witchingham this weekend??

Im running on the sun, would be over watching some the other days but working on the yard then whilst boss competes lol.

Doing the Intro on both horses - im in Section P & Q

Yep, I'm there on Sunday, both doing pre-novice (Section S and T, I think). I'm hoping to get them turned out for the first time for ages, now it's not ankle deep in water in the fields; hopefully that might take the edge off them. Is it just mine that are mental at the moment??!!

Nope not just yours nickym ........ mine are pretty mad ...... the 5yr old is going thru a mad stage and is barging everywhere and keeps p***ing off! lol!!
 
What is the weather like where you are then? It has been sunny here all day and we are just having a bit of lseety snow at the mo! So strange.

Will have to wrap up again to ride tonight and Spider is probably going to be full of it as she had yesterday off as she had only three shoes!!

Im in suffolk .......... same here....... sun then had about 4 showers of sleetly hail .......

I'm deciding whether to go to Great Witch and Witton with 1 person i groom for, or great witch for 2 days with the other. Both have asked i have to make a decision....!!! Hmm its v snowy here at the mo
 
Yes the 1st grt witch of each year the SJing arena is a bit tacky isnt it.

Oh well im just glad to be out eventing again! The XC should be nice though. Just had a big snow shower here - now its blue skies and sun! Strange.

Think it will be full chaps and a coat on tonight to ride!!!

My 5 yr old just can't keep his feet on the floor - I can clear a warm-up arena in about 30 seconds, what with him bucking and then playing chicken when horses are coming towards him! Roll on the warmer weather eh?

She will have a sqeaul and a buck in the field. And a little leap about when I get on when she has had a day off but apart from that (touch wood!!) she is 100% perfectly behaved

werent around for last yrs first gt was over at hartpury but year before was a bog in the sj......... hoping tho the sun will prevail!!

ah my 5 yr olds ideas of not all feet on the floor are bit diff....... he p***ed off whilst changing the rein lunging thankgod not in pessoa but in tack as i was getting on after ....... and jumped out the school!! fencing being 5foot as yard owner free jumps her showjumpers....... dennis thought that when we told him he was to be an eventer he thought he was trainning straight for badders this spring

I'm hoping that later in life his "attitude" will be one of his strong points, but meantime it's going to drive me mad! (I apologise in advance to anyone who has the misfortune to be near me when warming up - I do try and find a quiet corner to work him so that I don't disturb everyone, honest!)
 
Rosie would have done JRN on Saturday but is point to pointing at High Easter and the venues are too far apart to do both

was just thinking the same thing...hope its not being cancelled. Nothing on BE site yet.
Hubby is there on satuday. First run of the year and likely to be another collecting ring clearer!!! The big bay bucking in the dressage warm up will be him !!
