Is the second one something to do with wheat sheafs? Squaring them off at the base?

The last one is a chaff cutter I think but I've no clue what the stick one is

I think the first is a shillaly, an Irish cudgel.

I was going to say chaff cutter for the second but I think misterjay is probably right and it's a tool for squaring up sheaves for a thatcher.
