and of little interest to anyone but me I expect.

I just laid over my little grey horse. :D:D:D

Went in the school to long reign and she was very good as always. Stood her up next to the mounting block and jumped up and down and banged her saddle a bit and as she clearly didn't give a monkeys I had a little lean. That didn't register at all so I leant right out and picked my feet up. She just stood there sniffing my now dangling feet. Did it a couple of times on both sides. So pleased with her as she didn't care one jot and stood like a rock despite having no one at her head :)

Makes up for the fact I had to run so she could trot. Seriously, I am sooo unfit! Most undignified :(

I'd say it's a shame no one had a camera but she looks such a scruff at the moment I'm not sure I'd want a photographic record!

I'm off work on Friday if you want to come and ride BH? He's sort of on holiday (because I can't be bothered to do both of them) but I'm sure he could cope with a pootle round the school. I could make jumps for you, he'd like that :)

isn't it just a damn good feeling when you lean over or get on for the first time and don't end up in orbit:D:D

Yep. Although I think it'll be fine up until the first canter with this one. Then I'll be for it

Ahh bless her wee cottons, what a smart girl. Well done :) I love the look of your wee grey, how old and how big is she now?

I suppose she must be about 15.2 by now? And she's three and three quarters almost exactly. I'm going to try and have a proper sit on and a walk about over the Christmas holidays and then she can go away again until the spring.

I am especially happy as I really thought she wasn't going to make it as a ridden horse this summer, what with her pesky hock and all.
