Thanks guys. She realy does deserve this. She fought so long and so hard. She was the bravest pony I've ever known.
I realy do hope this article will help others in the future. I hope it will give them hope that all is not lost and there is a chance for some extra time. When Lucy was diagnosed the advice from so many was to just put her down But then I would have missed out on an extra 8 months with her and what an 8 months they were.

I still miss her so much that it hurts. The timing of the article is strange though as it's only just been a year since I lost her. Almost as if she's trying to tell me she's still here.

Have just read it, and what a excellent article it is. What an awful disease, thank god it is rare. It must have been so distressing for you and your pony, how lovely for her memory if this article can highlight it, and bring it to the fore. Even in her illness, your Lucy had such a sweet face. Bless you both, well done for getting into Horse and Hound. x

merrymeasure thankyou she was such a sweet mare who had a smile on her face right till the very end. She realy was a special pony who touched the hearts of so many. I think she'd be happy that this article will help others and she didn't go through all she did in vein. (If that makes any sence)
