Guide Dog Attacked....

omg that nearly made me cry the poor dog i'v seen something similar to that before on a tv programme about pitbulls 1 attacked an old ladys little tiny dog and she tried desperately to get herself into a cupboard with her wee dog, they didnt tell you what happened to them. if a dog attacked my dog like that sorry but i'd kick the sh1t out of it i'd rather that it attacked me.

We had this awful discussion on here last night.....the consensus was destroy the dog and set the man on fire or torture him to death

It is damn right disgusting though

Would your friend by any chance know how the guide dog and his/her owner are? That footage really upset me when I saw it yesterday, can't imagine how the poor girl must have felt hearing that fight going on and being unable to do anything.

That dog clearly should be muzzled but fairplay the guy seemed to be doing a lot to get it off.

FWIW if this ever happens, something I was taught by my grandad was something through the dogs collar and turn it, to choke dog.

Nice idea Kitsune but it doesnt always work that well

I remember trying to choke my lurcher off something which he had got hold of, and it was nearly impossible, he wasnt half as strong as a pitbull-type dog either
crazy.gif
I even ended up lifting him off the ground by the collar and he still wouldnt let go

(it was already dead when he got it btw

I have done that to stop a staff ripping a labs arse apart and it worked well, otherwise if no collar then a lead(slip lead u can pass through and form a noose to choke he dog, for those who are confident enough, I simply could not stand by and watch my do be mauled like this, even if it turned it's attention to me.

Thing is.....u get all this cesar is to harsh with his prong collars and his nudge in the side.....this is my point that dog could not feel a bloody punch or kick from the few hundred he gave it b4 he ran off then returned
mad.gif
these dogs have immense pain threshold, I think the lab will be ok, luckily they are big built thick skinned dogs to take such a mauling....he did look like he scarpered when he got the chance to get up.....and bless he looked like he ran to find the blind woman back past the dog.
I just saw the full footage from home as was at work last night.

Sticking your finger up the jacksy of the attacking dog also turns it's attentions away from attacking (Never done this myself)

I was thinking of something like the blind womans stick (would she have a stick if she had a dog?) or a walking stick, umbrella, up through the collar, following the dogs spine, from tail to nose then turn that umbrella til the bastard chokes.

I also heard of the finger up the arse job or grabbing its nuts and twisting. TBH if it was my dog attacking another, it would have had a similar fate. Or indeed if it was my dog being attacked. Its not sensible to jump in, but i know i would.

Jesus Christ. I read the story the other day but hadn't seen the video. Poor, poor dog. Sorry but the dog was as good as off the lead, you can see the owner saw what was coming & tried to grab the dog but just goes to show what can happen in a split second. It was a public place at the end of the day & it would have been avoided if he hadn't dropped the lead. I so hope the poor little dog is ok. The guy should come forward though, it was an accident but one that could have been avoided.

I am red hot with rage nijinsky, absolutely sickenning. That man deserves the same fate, nothing more.

Or perhaps dropped in with the dog that mauled the guide dog, with his hands tied behind his back to have his face torn off.

Poor little pup. Glad he was Ok though.
