I have far too many horses (5 of my own, 2 hopefully in foal) considering I only ride two of them. That's what happens when you have grazing and stabling, the herd sort of expands to fit.

Own one pony and one horse, but my pony is being readvertised soon

I own something like 14 or 15 or maybe it's 16 horses....I never can remember; and today I am off to hopefully buy 2 or 3 more providing they have what I am looking for.

Other.
Could afford the "running costs" but wouldnt be able to save up for th unexpected bills and it would mean a very poor quality of life for my family, every spare penny going on a horse for me isnt fair on them.
So I dont own

and ATM dont even have the time to ride *sobs*
All being well, should be back in the saddle again come new year........the weather might be better then too

I voted other, as I own one horse, sort of share another (I look after her and ride her when her owner is busy with her young daughter), and officially share another. So I have one and two halves horses!

Not that it matters however when it comes to vaccines , vet care and the farrier!

Tell me about it! My mini shetlands are expensive pets but I love 'em to bits

I own two - one horse and one pony. The pony technically belongs to my younger sister but I'm generally responsible for all decisions regarding her so tend to think of her as 'mine'

Hoping to start riding again in a couple of weeks, then will look for a loan/share or if that's not possible, start looking for my own horse sometime next year
