please feel free to delete just trying to get the message out **** URGENT APPEAL**** Please pass this round , after the death of a friend who owned a riding school/ex racehorse yard the horses are now due to be put to sleep , we have homed some and sadly the yard is now sold so there is no chance if them staying whilst homes are slowly found , if anyone is looking for a nice riding horse or a companion PLEASE PLEASE call me today as i have managed to get a few days repreeve to try and home the remaining horses , there are allsorts , from oldies that deserve a happy retirement to young ridable horses that can hack , jump , event

Whilst it may be the older ones are PTS, the younger ones surely deserve a chance?
These are RIDING animals, not field ornaments!

I am at work so cant call but what have you got left as I may know someone, I will be honest he would bring them on then sell them, but to good homes - I have known him for a long time, and surely that is better than them being pts? x

Googling the mobile number does seem to suggest a genuine 'horse person'...signs of pony club involvement and prior advertising etc

I contacted the person and there are still companions, but they've managed to find homes for all the ridden ones. So, if anyone needs a companion, still get in touch with her. She's legit.

Really good news. Rang number and listened to voice mail as would have helped with homing a couple of riding school types as have a friend who would have had a couple for her school. Even if only in lighter work.
