They’re so cute! Is guinea pig racing a thing? I think you’ve got two serious contenders :D.

We did get into this conversation on FB, the main issue I think would be that they are very programmed to follow each other!
Millie (coloured/bulldozer) rumble struts a lot, usually a dominance thing but I'm not convinced it is, for her I think its just revving up :D.

Ha ha love your videos! They're having fun!
That's a great environment you have set up for them, what is your base/sheet thingy at the bottom made from?

This is temporary guinea pig taming set up, they have a ferplast 140cm in the kitchen but I had my previous two on the floor early on and it definitely helped. Also, we do obviously have energy to burn up lol so it's nice to give them a good opportunity too. They do have an outdoor run but the lawn has needed some serious rescuing this year so I didn't want them out too early (and while they were still quite small).

As such there is only two vinyl table clothes under the fleece in this set up and they come out for a bit each evening.

7 months :) they were both born early November even though Millie is still significantly bigger.

It's interesting because tiffin (brown one) is much braver with me but when they are out she follows Millie around a lot, arguments about food seem to go 50:50

They have been out on the grass a bit but atm it's a bit daunting apparently which means they aren't totally fulfilling their role as lawn mowers. Because they are so 'hidey' out there and it can get warm underneath hides I've only been doing evenings and it's been raining all weekend.

They've not been in the hutch yet mostly because I have been using it as a greenhouse. . . .

Also just to demonstrate the bulldozer issue, it is not unusual for her to be underneath just shoving the box around but

Also, I say the lounge set up is temporary, it is fairly permanent temporary right now as no visitors so been there at least for the duration of lockdown.
I haven't been watching much TV...

The only issue is I have 'soft' lighting in there with means tiffin isn't always that visible in photos/videos.

Millie has picked up the 'get in the small travel box' training for catching very quickly, Tiffin isn't quite scared enough but equally is happy for me to catch her, normally, we had a bit of a run around situ the other evening. They are always happier travelling between locations in the box, I can kind of understand that being carried around by a tall being is going to be a bit concerning.
I did it with the previous 2 because we had a bit of a walk from flat to yard and 2 terriers and a daschund to negotiate...

Sometimes mine both run into the tunnel and I just pick that up. We've all got quite used to scooping both up at once now. My house too tiny to have them indoors. The grass is so wet that I've put the run on the patio the last couple of days with hay and other toys.

Brilliant. They're just so cute! Are piggies like dogs and cats that get more sedate as they get older?
