If you get a width measurement on a wintec gullet gauge, is this the with you are looking for on every brand of saddle for that horse?
eg-Wintec gullet measures wide, do I buy a wide Albion?

All saddles will vary in width so just because a wide wintec fits doesn't mean another brand in wide will, saddle shape and the tree curve will vary as well so you have to consider this as well.

You could take a gamble and buy something hoping it fits, but it might be worth getting a fitter out with a good variety of saddles you can try even if you don't end up buying from them at least you will have rough idea of what could work.
