I like the dog and field ones.
It says size up if wearing as an over garment… do people wear them as undergarments?.
Also I’ll message them but can you tell me what size you recommend? I’m a 14 top generally.
Thank you. What’s what I needed. The money for them!I like MJ - but she won't sugar coat anything. If you can train a cocker you can train anythingI use placeboards for everything (I'm cheap and buy half step mobility/senior aids from Amazon that are plastic, easy to move, waterproof and non-slip for about £15 a piece)
Like these?

Are they big enough for a lanky lab butt?I don't think she's ever liked them!
Pretty sure those are the exact ones I use
Thank you.Just check the dimensions - I think the normal ones are 60x40cmx 10cm, I just hunted around until I found the closest one to that
Your pheasants season is different I think?First trial of the season tomorrow, with the last one of the 4 we kept I would have thought would be ready to run first but here we are. "Just" a novice but it's 10min down the road on the type of ground she is familiar with plus they were short of entries so be rude not to give her a run.
Good luck, let us know how it goes!First trial of the season tomorrow, with the last one of the 4 we kept I would have thought would be ready to run first but here we are. Brilliant, well done to her.Finished her two runs so happy with that although we didn't get placed (there is no COMs at Novice here, only 1-4!).
Good luck - had a head wind both times, some dogs had back winds depending on running order. 2 very nice finds. Didn't try to peg a partridge in deep cover.
Bad luck - first find was in the only patch of very heavy cover on our beat, so when it was shot she couldn't mark and needed handling to retrieve. She then wing blinded herself, tried to bring the bird to the judge and sort of half fumbled/dropped it but held the wing tip so he let her away with a black mark, which out us out of any running for awards but she's a baby and it's something she will learn to deal with as she gets more experience.
She had a lovely retrieve on the second side so happy with that.
I just use whichever one was on sale at Petsathome. A blue can but without unpacking the car I can’t tell you the brand. Red is very attractive to dogs, especially when tired or hot. Shooting can be a nightmare and apparently it’s a me problem not a male problemCompletely off topic, has anyone used bitch spray? Any success? And which brand? Getting tired of our girls being harassed by unruly boys!![]()
That’s the response we get, despite the most hassled dog being spayed for the last 5 years!I just use whichever one was on sale at Petsathome. I only spray around her rear end just before we load up as it stinks. I don’t care if the offending dogs can’t find a bird all day but I’d like mine to still be able to smell..
Yes I think it works but as it’s so strong I only use it if she’s going to be in with a dog with me not there. Ideally I use my boot on the dog
Let me know. Mine is an aerosol. Wow at being bitten! Red is spayed (apparently also that is whyThat’s the response we get, despite the most hassled dog being spayed for the last 5 years!
We usually just use the boot, but my husbands boot was bitten over the weekend. Which he can take, I’m a lot smaller than him and not as confident with being bitten
Going to try this one, it’s the only one they seem to have online! Will report back on Thursday with the success rate it’s Eucalyptus and Citronella so may just deter mosquitoes![]()
Ok, whistles. I’ve always used a 110.5 since the year dot.
What do you lab people use? Please.
