Does anybody know where is is though to be now?
Somebody fitting his exact description and driving the car he was seen in robbed the shop in my street last night :| Scary stuff!

I'm scared to take the dog for a walk!

The police know, I just wondered if they had any idea where he is.

Thanks angelish, its very worrying! I know someone who knows him well and went to school with him and said he is canny!! Not sure I would describe him as canny haha!

Mental! The police officer was a mile away from my parents' house when he was shot. They have been kept awake each night by the chopper hovering since. He lived in the same bit of Newcastle as them, too!

I cant believe it is taking so long to find him?! There has deff been an increase in the amount of police cars about in county durham.

Thats because they have drafted in ARVs (armed response vehicles) from neighbouring forces according to the BBC! He is one derranged SOB thats for sure....:(

I live 7 miles from Rothbury and another helicopter has just passed over, on the way over. There are some woods around Rothbury that go on for miles, he might be hanging out there. They are doing an overnight search and everyone has been told to stay indoors until further notice. I hope they find him soon, it's a bit close for comfort.

Oh my goodness, that is too close for comfort. All the best x

Kal40 - I'm in the Longhorsley area, where are you?

It's an awful situation but they must be convinced he's in the area if they are pumping so many resources into it. Hope they get him soon.

They will get him. Its only a matter of whether the police shoot him, or whether he kills himself first. To be honest, I am surprised that this is the 1st time it has happened...

Something similar happened where I used to live a few years ago. Anyone remember the soldier who went on the run and was armed in Birmingham??
His parents were my next door neighbours!! We got 'evacuated' at stupid o'clock in the morning and that was only because we had a baby in the house and my dad insisted on driving over to ours to pick us up and take us to his!
Police didn't tell us a word!

My brother is a policeman and I am worried sick whilst that Thing - I don't know what else to call him without insulting the rest of the human race or animals - is still on the loose
with his hatred of the police.
Anyway lets all pray it ends quickly and safely.

Seems there's a few of us in the area, I'm about 15 miles away from Rothbury, towards the Pont area. Can't believe they haven't caught him yet, but the generally feeling on the ground over this way is he was never in the Rothbury area at all, and that his 2 mates (the 'hostages') have been laying a trail to lead the police away from him. He's probably already abroad.

Unfortunately I have a couple of friends who know this Moat guy very well....

Im in the Alnwick area BD.

Sky new have just announced that he is going to include the general public in his hunt.

At first I thought he probably wasn't there but off somewhere but I think it would take a lot of planning to keep planting these letters in Rothbury. Presumably there is info in them which confirms it is him writing them at least.

Its manic around here with police vehicles flying around the place.

I'm pleased I don't live in Rothbury.

hi
there have been armed police cars sat outside a house in the blyth area since sat
they have only moved to swap with another car (change shifts)

i had two blue light past me when iv'e been out today
they are not normal police cars

apparently he visited KFC before he robbed the chippy

if they were sure he is still in rothbury they wouldn't be here
i don't think they have a clue were he is

OK am probably gonna get shot down for this but FGS the police were warned by the prison service on his release that the man was a danger - but , heyho they did nothing! There was a catalogue of errors listed in yesterdays Times that was quite shocking.

He has obviously been pushed over the edge and who knows what he will do now. I can't help but think if he's got any sense he will no longer be in Rothbury.

On a lighter note am thinking of asking my hairdresser if he can come up with a similar style to the lady officer who has been speaking at the press conferences -now that's a good look!!
