Pony has been on Protexin for the last 4 weeks and seems to be more comfortable on it.

Coopers Gut Support would work out cheaper but has anyone used Protexin and then moved to Coopers? Or any others?

It's obviously not worth saving the money if pony isn't as happy on it and can only find 5kg sized Coopers pots to try.

He can be fussy with supplements in feed so palatability is an issue too.

My horse didn’t like Protexin, I also suspect it sent him a bit loopy. He’s very happy on Coopers, his gut settled quickly. No problems eating it, it smells yeasty, unsurprisingly!

I use Protexin acid ease and find it good. I haven’t tried Coopers but am following this thread with interest.
