Despite the main BE site saying that the BE event at Burnham Market is still taking entries- it has infact closed early and is not operating a wait list.

I had left it until today to enter as I had my mind on other things with emergency vets and car accidents. I knew the ballot was yesterday so was expecting some classes to be full but did not expect ALL classes to be closed, particularly as the BE site has them as still open.

Im gutted.

argh no!! thats so annoying!!
i know what you mean though, i missed poplar last week...had every intention of being up to date with entries but sometimes you just dont think about them when they are a while away and you have lots of other things going on!!

OH has decided to do Milton Keynes instead...he had a hideous time last time he was there so it might be a good time to lay a few ghosts to rest!

Witchie next weekend - if we aint 3 foot deep in snow!

Okay, I know youre disappointed but ........

WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO
So pleased youre coming back to MKEC. Im hoping to compete there too

I went to MK instead of Burnham last year and had a v good day with a ridiculously amazing sub 30 dressage and double clear so i think it'l be a good thing!!

If its any consolation they closed on "i think" Wednesday

Yes, thats a big consolation as it would have been worse thinking I'd missed it by a day. Ive had the worst week and promised OH Id sort the entries (he is pants at entering on line). I have to say I sobbed when I realised he'd missed out...
Its one of his fave places.

Oh well...he would kill to get a sub 40 score so lets hope the MK judges are kind that day too!

atleast he now knows not to go for a walk round the far perimiter while the ring crew are rebuilding the fences hes just bulldozed !

HAHA hes come a long way since then.
Was going to say come to Goring but one thats probably too far, plus theyve closed OPN entries now too.

Will you be doing aston this year?

Dont think so - bit too far for us. Same with Tweseldown - love the course, really love it, but the whole blow out/M25 thing puts me off! Got to try and get in to spring/autumn events as Bobs trotters dont cope well with hard going. Aston seemed quite hard when we came for a look-see (mind you...not a patch on hideous Stratford Hills!)

See not a huge fan of Tweseldown, its not my favourite mainly due to being used to the lovely stately home events.

Salperton, Great Tew might be worth for you to go to - they are mid season but on good old turf, Purston too.

PMSL!
Central lol

Great Tew is Oxfordshire - not far from me actually.
Salperton is Gloucestershire but not far from Burford (Oxon)
Purston is Northampton (about 15 mins from aston le walls)
