Gutted, Dressage cancelled

Just found out that Hargate have cancelled the BD they have on tomorrow because of the weather, it was going to be my first affiliated test ever and the first Novice with Connie - Boo! Oh and i bought a beautiful pair of Brogini riding boots at the beginning of the week and was hoping to show them off!

Totally pointless, but needed to vent!

Poor you and I undertsand how you feel!! The local xmas fun show was cacelled here too. My son was going to ride in it and I made his and his pony's costume for the fancy dress class too.

I suppose there is the slight consolation it has been cancelled.

I think the worst thing is when your head knows the weather is too bad for you to risk it, based on where you are roads etc but you know the event is still going on without you!!

The Christmas SJ show I was going to tomorrow has been cancelled and I'm disappointed as we have been practising our jumping so I know how you feel. But in some ways it's better its cancelled as at least you're not missing anything, and hopefully you can go on the new date.

Where I was hoping to go tomorrow hasnt cancelled which is a shame for me as my arena is frozen and the horse hasnt had the work needed to go competing so its a lost entry fee. Eternally optimistic they may cancel tomorrow morning, but I wont be risking the roads and a very fresh horse who is mud coloured.
