Afta bein on private yard for 2 years, and looking afta it and spent money on maintenance, I was given 2 weeks notice even though I pay a month, as it is goin to be rented out as an lot yard for a racehorse trainer. I got told he would make more money, so all you north York shire peeps any livery yards tucked away apart from the main equestrian centres, too big and too busy and too pricey, please let me know.
 
Depends where you are but good yard at leeming ,north Yorkshire. Look on Stephen plaice sport horses page under livery and give him a ring.
 
Hi peeps thanks for your replies, i have been off for a few days. i am in the leyburn area but couldnt travel any further than DL6 maximum 15miles, not sure where malton falls, will try Stephen's place. I was looking for DIY as I see no point in owning horses and getting someone else to do them.

There were only 2 stables on a private yard with 5 fields so the trainer will be using the 2 stables for the sick and lame and the fields for those that need to rest and put on some weight so no chance of me staying put, sadly it is one of those - thick as thieves situations - the YO says to the racehorse trainer - you scratch my back and i will scratch yours!

I fully accept this happens in life what has really got to me is he must have known about this for a few months and he could have given me more notice. I guess if you are looking for loyalty I will need to get a dog.
