Gutted - my bargain is not a bargain any more

I posted the other day about my new bridle - a Jumpers cavesson bridle with brass buckles, bought in the sale for just £46. Well, I thought I was on to a major bargain, but I tried it on Elz only to find that the headpiece was too big - even with the cheek straps on the highest hole, her snaffle still hung far too low. So I popped it into the car and drove up to the Old Dairy to swap the headpiece for a cob size, only to find they have only full size and pony left! Took a pony size home just to try it, but it was much too small, as I thought it would be. Am truly gutted; apparently Jumpers have discontinued the line, hence the huge reduction on the price. Managed to get a refund, so think I will probably end up getting the Whitaker - albeit for £50 more
