Be reassured - she was looking so good just four days ago that she can't have been suffering. Sadly I've known a few people with liver cancer and it seems to hit so fast - the only good thing to be said is that it IS so fast. No-one could have done more for her and you had a fantastic bond to the end.

Very true. My uncle battled cancer for almost 3 years. It finally spread to his liver and he was gone within a week. He never even looked sick.

Agree. I lost my old mare through liver cancer last year. It was very quick. You couldnt have done anything more.

OMG!! I've just seen this!! Hunny I am so sorry to hear your news! She was always a cob I admired on here - lovely type and stunning eyes!! RIP Ellie - you will be sorely missed.
