Lennox was ordered to be PTS today at a court hearing after ten months in a kennel, location unknown, even to the family vet.

His family are appealing.

This dog was neutered, microchipped, DNA tested, insured and licensed, his owner is a former vet nurse.
He was kept in a secure garden, lived with a Yorkie, a Boxer and dogs his family fostered, he was muzzled and leashed when out walking.
There was no complaint made against him.

I would also urge caution towards anyone with a Staff cross living in that area in case they come for your dogs too.
Lennox was insured and licensed for five years without issue - then got a home visit because he was listed as a Staff x and was impounded because of his leg and muzzle measurements.

This family did everything right and they were punished, not the oiks and thugs with ticking time bombs that often run around your local park.

Please think of him tonight and give your dogs a cuddle.
There is a Twitter and Facebook page if you want to contact/support Lennox's case directly.

Nightmare:( The DDA has got to be one of the worst bits of legislation, ever (and that is a professional opinion).

Poor Lennox and his family:(

Makes me angry these owners go to such lengths whilst others could not give a toss as to the fate of their dogs they could quite easily have been given back:mad: (LL obs)

This is absolutely sickening and the poor boy kept in those conditions which you and I would be prosecuted for.

I really feel for this family who have played it by the book, I see them as an easy target and they are using them to make an example of.

Horrific. Just another example of the 'justice' in this world :mad:
Perhaps they want to be concentrating on the people who are bringing their dogs up wrongly rather than wasting their time on the people who are doing everything right.
Thoughts are with his family, I can't even imagine. I will be giving my dogs a huge extra cuddle when I go home.

Is it just a matter of time before attention turns to GSDs, Rotties and the likes and they start doing the same thing? The world has gone mad.

Cannot imagine having a dog seized from a loving environment and kept in isolation in a shitty kennel - the stress must have been immense

The only thing keeping me going would be the thought that I had done everything right to secure his release. To then have this outcome is just heartbreaking - thoughts are with his family. Sweet dreams Lennox x

I think they should be prosecuted for keeping him as they have (the [folk who seized him, not his family). Effing awful.
