Gymnastics *spoilers*

Fantastic result!

This could be Super Sunday given we've got three medals at least guaranteed, plus the golf and the pommel still to come.
 
Wouldn't it be fantastic if he can at least get a medal in the pommel horse too.

Was lovely to see how pleased the Brazilians were too with their medals especially when compared to say Chinese or Russian athletes who are "expected " to get gold
 
It was amazing!! So unexpected!!

And now I'm glued to the golf, a sport I always thought was pointless yet put it in the Olympics and I'm gripped!!
 
The golf is hysterical - people keep picking up the balls, phones going off when the players are teeing off....the commentators have been getting more and more peeved as the last round has gone on!

ETS: Woop - gold for Justin Rose! (It's still a rubbish sport, but hey, another gold! :biggrin3:)

Loved how surprised all the medallists were. Looking forward to the Pommel later (I think). We are watching Bryonie Shaw in the windsurfing final as she's a friend of the OH. Very chuffed that his other mate, Nick Dempsey, got silver in the windsurfing earlier today.
 
Unless China win some golds tonight too, we're going to be second in the table for a brief moment. Not bad for our tiny islands!
 
Oh and whatever we think of golf as an Olympic sport, good on Rose for going on and playing for his country. Shame it can't be said for others.
