Ok thought I would start a new thread as I have just been pointed out by someone in another thread that the gypsy cob society no longer exist.

If this is correct, then who do I send my passport off to so the ownership can change? Will I need to re-register him with another society?

The gypsy cob society stopped being a PIO about Jan 2011- I had just bought horse with a gypsy cob passport & it was pointed out 2 me at his vetting
The Lipizzaner Society of GB is overseeing all Gypsy cob passports.
There was a bit on their website bout what 2 do with gypsy cob passports (this was 18mths ago when I bought horse) & I emailed them & they were very helpful
Horse now has lipizzaner passport with his gypsy cob passport inside it
& no idea why he's got gypsy cob passport in the 1st place being a bay roan Connie X. . . . !!

The lippazana society took over from the gcs,as I had to find out 2 years ago when I had to renew my then foals passport.it was in the process of changing at that time.

So when are all you cob owners going to start teaching your horses airs above the ground? :D

What's all this 'teaching' about? ;)

:p

You don't have to passport them with a breed society (Otherwise I'd be in real trouble) As it is worthless anyway most people go for the cheapest :)

Tehehe ;) Bless them.

Yet both the 2 older ones [blue/white and piebald]....were literally born broke. Tacked up and jumped on and off they went without any hint of air displays in progress.
