Ring the police and report it - it's now their responsibility to deal with them as they could easily cause an accident.

Can't get through to the police station , just keeps cutting me off
I have no idea where they have gone
By the time I'd run back to the car and followed the queue of traffic they'd gone .. i've checked empty fields and paths but they are no-where to be seen
I've been left in charge of the yard for the weekend so if they come back I don't know what to do ?

We are trying to find a contact no. for him ? He changes his phone so much the next time I ring its always disconnected.
Saying that , I have no idea where they are now
Agree with the others - now they are on the road phone the police before there is an accident - if they ask do not give them permission to put them back in the field as its not your land - then they will have to do something.
Poor horses - it upsets me as that is probably what my mare went through before she was rescued.

Oh my! I'd have thought I were dreaming if they'd been dumped on my driveway! They're gorgeous!
Can't you sell them?

I'd hate to face the wrath of T if I sold his horses !
The last time something came on the yard we ended up keeping it for 3 weeks before it was collected !

Ah, now I know who you mean. *rseh*le
Ring a different branch, they should be able to put you through to Bridgend or at least log the call and pass it on.
OMG i didnt even know things like this happened!! The police/ council should have more powers available to move them on.

This is a regular occurrence round here .. there is within a 5 miles radius about 100 horses in a few fields so I'm used to chasing them but they never usually stay?!

A police dog man (don't know his real title!) told me to ring 999 if they get onto the road as they are an immediate hazard .. but I don't know where they are so I can't do that now
I keep checking to see if they are back but they aren't
We have them next to the A14 which is such a busy road and at the moment they have over 30 all with a collar round their neck so they can only graze ina small circle and water is brought probs once a day those above seem a lot happier then the ones here also they dont maintain their fences so if the horses come off their collar they can get onto the A14 and i witnessed one being killed in this way before by a lorry poor thing they actually need to look after them. Round here they go to the local sales and its just so sad to see the condition they are in and how they handle them. The sales round here have been stopped due to the john dyer incident so they are just building up.
Hide em all......... and give them to welcoming HHOers as you see fit!
We had this, 3 horses put in our hay field, thethered without access to water, so we were watering them............. which according to the RSPCA is wrong, they could of done something if the horses had been left for 5 days without water............ erm yeah like we were going to stand by and let that happen!
South Wales Police operate the 101 number for non emergencies. It puts you through to Bridgend who deal with the call and farm it out to the closest station. I have rung it many times for these horses!
