hehe yup!! talked to her tonight seemed to be going mad lol!!a whole bloody week off school!!
she was running round crazy lol!! any way pony seems to be jumping well as was 5th on wednesday!!

Well just had a count up and found that I did name 6 of the top 10, but probably jinxed those I ended up reluctantly predicting to finish 1st, 2nd & 3rd!

It will be interesting to hear some views about the course. I wonder if Bob Ellis felt he had to make it extra tough because it was a strong field and didn't want to run the risk of having far too many clears. Repeating the point I made before - in "the good old days" far more competitors got their chance to jump at HOYS - Fox used to have about 40-50 who jumped in 2 sections, with the clears going on to jump again in the evening, with jump-off to follow. I really believe this was a more satisfactory format.

The course was well up-to height and the one that really seemed to catch people out was a big double then 4 short strides to a very wide oxer on an angle, most people had that down.

A bit of a shame really, as it was a field of class horses and not many had a chance to prove themselves. Still, I feel for Bob Ellis, as you just never know if you've got it right...
