i know hes not perfect but what do you think? he's showing there not doing stressage and we are ever so slightly on a downhill slope. (not massive though)
 
I'm with you MizELToe i.e. not sure I really understand the downhill and uphill terminology, but I hate to see horses constantly overbent, and from the limited amount I see, I'd say it's too common in present-day dressage. I was taught that a horse's head should not be behind the vertical.
 
That's a really nice picture - I'm assuming that you're on the right rein and he's bent around your right leg? He could do with his nose pushing a tiny bit further out - but for a novice outline I think that's quite pleasing - his tail looks to be swinging and he's got a happy expression on his face!
