Seeing as I cannot get into Latest News I will post here.
Whitewash, thats all I can say - MP backs up AT by citing other riders such a thing has happened to - also says AT felt LS take a false step and then he picked up
Also, "I was therefore dissapointed that the ground jury chose to follow the letter of the law and disqualify her from the event...rather than the spirit of the law"
Nancy Jaffer, in the report, states "the horse bobbled 100m or so before the last fence....and then LEAPED off after the finish line when he became markedly lame..." In the same article MP states "...Without the advatage of video or hindsight, it is hard for a rider to stop a horse when they are that close to the finish and uncertain what is going on...If it happens at the finish, you don't have the LUXURY of going for a bit to see how and when you can pull up"
Views? Must say I understand that H&H have to stay neutral, but the commentators have just white washed over the whole affair.
