Do you get unwanted phone calls trying to sell you H & H .I have H & H delivered each week and have done so for ages so tonight when the phone rang and I got out of the bath I wasn't too pleased.Has anyone else had this problem

Have you filled in a form at an event on an H&H stand? For a free draw for example?

I did get a call from them once, when I explained I wasn't too pleased to receive such a call being a subscriber they were VERY apologetic and have not called again.

Maybe but I hate phone calls from sales and I'm signed up to call preference service and always look out for anything that says 'Do you mind being contacted' Have rather wet carpet and think they could check if you already buy it on subscription. Another half hour and I probably wouldn't have minded.lol

I get this with Horse Deals! They seem to ring me every week to try and get me to advertise with them, and they always manage to ring when you are in the bath, on the loo, got the vet... I'm sure they do it on purpose and when I stopped answering their number they started ringing with a with held number, then after giving them an ear bashing they stopped (for a while) but started emailing me every week, now they are ringing again but this time off of a mobile! Do you think I can do them for harassment!!

Next time they contact you I suggest you do exactly that ie. threaten to take them to court for harassment. Guess they might stop!

I dont get hassle from H&H but I do get the odd offer even though I ticked that box!!!!

Yep many a time, even tho we subscribed.

I dont now, mainly due to not always rec'ving the mag on a thrusday. Easier for me to pick it up from the newsagent.

because we do a fair amount of advertising i get a mega amount of unwanted advertising calls - many from obscure publications , and i agree its a pain in the BUTT, horsetrader on-line a real nuisance at the moment - and they ring from a mobile too- as are "your horse" mag. Dont know how many times I have said no and they still keeep pestering.

I got one the other day offering me cheap copies for several weeks. Sounded like a good deal and I agreed but she wanted my bank details (she rang my mobile to make the offer).

I suppose the alarm bells rang and even though she was probably legit I have never given my bank details over the phone unless I have initiatited the call. You just never know!

Unfortunately she got quite shirty, she suggested I ring her back but....sadly said "and I also advise you to ring your bank who tell you that giving your details out is quite safe" - I just thought that was rude so decided to decline the offer.
