It's that time of year again and I dread it. My horse is a nightmare to clip. He hates it and I have to dope him but he is still difficult to do.
My clippers are great, Listers, but I think the cable doesn't help him. So have decided to ask hubby for an early Christmas present and get battery powered clippers. I believe they are quieter and there is no cable to worry about.
So, question, which ones do you recommend? Thanks in advance.

Yes, that dreaded time of year again - I hate this in between time where you constantly worry about whether to rug or not!!

Can't help with the clipper query, sorry. Mine are the loudest things going but seem to send Henry to sleep (except round the ears!)...

i have got liveryman whisper cordless clippers they are ace really quiet i can now clip my horse on my own with them and they are nice to do legs with

i have listers and they can be run from my mains,a belt battery pack that you wear or a lead to attach to a car battery.
all these can be purchased on their own and listers are very helpful .

google `petsense direct` i think it is.lady there very helpful too.

My horse used to be a bugger to clip and i had a lady come and clip him and she had some lister one's which she had the battery pack around her waist and they did the job well.
