H - Wave therapy

Yes my physio regular used the H-wave on my WB for Chronic SI issues and close but not kissing spinal processes. I also purchased on her advice a cheaper version to stimulate the muscles. I attach the power module to a surcingle so I didn't have to hold it the whole time and then use the pads to stimulate the muscles along his back. I used to rigorously do this almost every night for 10 minutes in each area. Horse has never been bothered and I could just sit with him to keep an eye on it whilst he ate his hay. I think it really helped him along with a careful exercise regime. I'm still hacking him at 20 years.

My physio seems to have all the latest physio equipment which she has used on my horse over the years so it will be good to try something new. I have used a TENS on myself for back pain and know how good it is, so this machine is even more powerful than that. My horse sounds like yours and would be happy to munch on his hay net if you started to saw his leg off!

The area that is sore is muscular and is not near his spinal processes, its further down his back in his muscle area and is related to overcompensation of the hock and certainly very doubtful to be anything to do with KS.
