Actually passed a couple of kids with pink jackets on with "Please pass wide and slow" emblazoned on the back and the two ponies had "WIDE" and "SLOW" (one each) stitched to their hot pink riding rug tail flaps

Bless them... I did laugh as they came up and had a chat...

I want one now...

Well, I made people slow down yesterday D). I couldn't find my usual hi viz (twas buried beneath ''stuff'') so grabbed my OH 'fancy dress party police themed hi-viz instead. (don't ask!!)
On the back it has 'PC Fuzzy', (OH nickname). Quite apt as the horse is a tad 'fuzzy' now.... but motorists had to slow down and look for themselves! God knows what they thought the PC bit could have stood for! lol

I got mistaken for a police woman last week when I was out riding. I was wearing my pink hi viz jacket with silver reflective strips and have a navy hat silk with a pink reflective band over the top. A man stopped to put his dogs on a lead whilst I passed them on the moor and he said "that's a nice way to patrol on horseback". I didn't correct him.
