Hack & Racehorse to riding horse classes (showing)

What kind of shows do I need to do in these classes for search 4 a star?

Any help appreciated!

Bearing in mind the hack is very well schooled the Racehorse not at all!

We did search for a star as osbaldeston and it was a set show

ROR website should be able to give you some help regarding these types of classes that are specifically in place for ex race horses, also there are a few clubs/forums that will also be able to help like the Ex Racer Club or the Scottish & Northern Ex Race Horse Club that will be able to tell you which shows have the qualifying classes.

for the hack class it is normaly a judge ride.
race horse to riding horse i dont know if it is a judge ride, but if it isnt then you need to show walk trot and canter on both reins. and either an extended canter or a gallop on one rein.

Hi - Search for a Star hack/riding horse - judge will ride. You don't do a show. Whilst hacks do a show in BHSA classes, riding horses don't so they don't in SFAS (or at least they didn't when we did it three years ago). Similarly in the ex racehorse class judge will ride rather than you do a show. Ride round will be normal walk trot canter change rein canter. Doubt you will gallop though you may be asked to. Racehorse class likely to be v high quality at the top end.
