Does/has anyone use these? They have done a bespoke formula for my gelding with arthritis. Just looking for any comments or reviews before I decide to place an order.

I had my formula though today after speaking to Auslander. Just ordered 2kg of it.

Spoke to Alex on the phone today and he was very helpful.

I've been using an anti-inflammatory bespoke for about 4 months now, and I notice a difference if I don't feed it for a few days, which is about as positive an endorsement as is possible! i've never been that convinced by joint supplements before, but the combination in this one seems to work for Alf!

I have a few friends who swear by the stuff - personally, the formula Alex made up for me was going to cost double per day than what I was already giving, and the actual ingredients list wasn't that different (I feed three very specific powder supps alongside a balancer). So I didn't go down that route - but I do know a lot of happy customers (and I know people whom he's advised NOT to change supplements which I think says a lot for integrity!)

The reason I've asked is because my vet recommended a joint supplement (their own veterinary brand @ £80 a tub) and said my gelding needed one with both glucosamine and chondroitin. The bespoke formula recommended by Hack Up does contain glucosamine but not the chondroitin. At £50 a tub, which should last about 100 days I think I will give it a try. Thanks for the help :)

Mine doesn't contain glucosamine as my is prone to laminitis and Alex said it wouldn't be good for him.

After a lot of research I pretty much knew what ingredients I wanted in a supplement and it has them all. I couldn't find another supplement with them all in and can't be bothered to have lots of tubs sitting about and giving a scoop of this and that. Rather just one scoop and I'm done 😊

I am a serious supplement sceptic, spend a lot of time rubbishing them but I have one of mine on a hack up supp, after a lot of persuading by a knowledgeable friend, and I'm planning to keep him on it.

Studies do show that glucosamine and chondroitin work better together than individually to reduce inflammatory pain from osteoarthritis, so I can see why your vet would recommend one with both in (unless a specific reason why not as below). There is also an optimum ration between the two which I don't know off the top of my head. Neither works as a joint disease preventative though.

I use them and a formula Alex gave me to rid my horse of lumps is the only thing that's worked. I spend 100's on lotions and potions and other supplements along with 2 vet visits

He put her in Zeoliet and her skin has cleared up lovely

I also use a general vit and joint combined supplement.

I swear by them and will continue to use them from now on.
