Hacking Apps?

Afternoon,

I know there are a few hacking apps about but quick search hasn't found them. What do people use? And what do they record? Distance travelled, pace, letting someone track your movements etc?

Has to be for an android phone 😊

I find Equilab great for a free app, fairly certain it does all of the above but haven't used the safety functionality myself.

You have to pay monthly (either 4.99 or 9.99 - can't remember!) for the rider tracking feature.

Just downloaded Equilab shall see how it goes when I next go for a hack. I take it I need to set it going then out in pocket?

Yeah just start it before you get on. We normally either forget to turn it on or put it off when we’re back 😂

I just use Strava, works really well.

I start it in my stable & then bung it in my pocket. Will get an armband for summer.

Oh, and when you first set it to go, your phone will likely say you have a High Battery Usage app running. You need to allow it to run in the background, or it will turn off in 5 mins, which is really annoying. Your phone will tell you what to do, but if you miss it, the Equilab website tells you.
