hacking around Gooseham, Bude and property search!

We are interested in a property in the hamlet of Gooseham and are wondering what the hacking would be like from there and if there is any off road riding. We are currently in Ireland and looking to return to the UK this summer so its a great help to find out as much as possible about any properties we like before making the trip over to view. Ideally hoping to continue to train our one point to pointer so any info on nearly gallops etc much appreciated also. And if this property isnt suitable or we cant secure it - any suggestions for anywhere in the south west in good riding country. Min 2 bed, min 4 acres. Ideally not too remote but not hemmed in by neighbours either Dont mind a project as long as we can live in part of it as we work on it. Budget around 700- 750,000. WE are doing all the rightmove. uklandandfarms etc searches but its still easy to miss something. Or someone might know of something not on the market yet. Thanks a million

It’s so hit and miss in Devon.
Good access to Pontispool would be good, although in Somerset as they have gallops

Or look around Exmoor / Dartmoor - Okehampton area.

I don’t know Bude area but know the beaches around Braunton are fab for riding on.

Thank you We are looking all over - exmoor would be brilliant but usually expensive. Its just theres a nice property to renovate in Gooseham so was just keen to know that area before getting too excited about it. Thanks for the info though
