Hacking at The Ridgeway Wiltshire

A friend of mine is looking at a property to buy which says fantastic hacking across the Ridgeway. Does anyone know the hacking area at all?

My yard is near the Ridgeway, the hacking is lovely, your friend will be pleased.

I love the ridgeway and associated routes we boxed up a fair bit when I lived in wilts, I do it on a bike now instead but the bits that are lovely on a horse (cantering up grassy inclines) are the bits that are very hard work on a bike!

I’m the Oxon / West Berks area of the Ridgeway and it’s amazing hacking here, miles of grassy tracks and byways off the national trail itself. I’ve hacked the full length of the Ridgeway too and the Wiltshire end is great fun, part of it runs along the gallops at Barbury and you can also follow a spur of it to Avebury.
