A bit late but only just seen this.

Here's the right of way maps from the council website https://www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/se...ve-map.aspx#DynamicJumpMenuManager_1_Anchor_1

It s shows the main bridlepath through the Bencroft woods, it's bridleway 076 and goes through the woods from White Stubbs through the water splash and in theory comes out on Darnicle Hill. However the last little bit is currently marked as a footpath and being challenged.

There are also a couple of permissive paths that allow horse riding that are signposted however these won't be on the map as they are not official rights of way. Not been up there for a while so not sure if they are still there.

Broxbourne woods also has several permissive paths, some allow horse riding, some walkers only however quite well signposted. No actual bridlepaths on the main bit. The website for the woods doesn't have helpful maps but there used to be good maps showing the paths by the carparks.
