I have now typed up a long report 4 times, each time the computer has bloody wiped it.

So my Bear update constitutes a couple of pics and a few bullet points and that is all as I now can't be arsed!!!

brief update...

reported to police as being a dangerous dog for allegedly biting someone.
behaviourist thought that he had been traumatised by the walker.
went to a 4 day show and he gained many admirers on the trade stand
tried a dog show - hated it (both me and him) thought it was dull, boring and the biggest waste of time!
he now weighs 41.5kg!

will do a proper update when computer stops being so annoying!

Thankyou! And sorry about your computer trouble, now I feel guilty

He is mahoosive! B is only 38kg at 22 months! And loving those ears

I can't believe the woman called the police - and glad the behaviourist took your side - was this the walker/jogger woman?

I don't know what kind of show you went to, but you either get bitten by the showing bug or you don't - I kinda squashed the bug with a fly swat

Thanks for persevering and delivering an update - you're doing a brilliant job.
How is Baby Bear? Or should I go and torture Teffy for that?

And do you hear about Mojo? And Wroxy?

Sorry, sneaked in for news of Bear. Although did see him a couple of weeks ago, he is as handsome as ever. Glad he enjoyed the trade stand at Bolesworth, if not the dog show, Evie shares his opinion of dog shows after her one and only time at one. But she did have the attraction of lots of sheep muck to eat whilst in the ring
smile.gif

ETS H_H, I saw Wroxy as well the other week, she is so pretty, reminds me of a well known sable bitch of yesteryear but can't think of the name , terrible thing old age
frown.gif

I think I sat on the showing bug and that did a similary job to the fly swat!!

He just keeps on growing! He starts to get a sloping bum and then he goes croup high and all lanky again, then the front starts to catch up and the cycle starts again!! I read in a book once that they can grow up to 66kg. I suspect he'll finish up not far off that!

Yes it was the walker woman (the one who showed her bum). I told the police that next time she claimed to have a bruise it would have been caused by me!! Oops!

Wroxy I see every week as my boyfriend has her. she is much more hyper than Bear and about 4 inches shorter. She had the sloping bum and I don't think she will grow a great deal more.

Baby Bear - I last saw him at the BD winter champs but Teffy gives me updates on facebook regularly but she would be the best to ask about him.

Mojo - incredibly happy living with a mechanic. Have not seen him but know other people that have. Apparently as big as Bear, but not as nice!!!

The other cheeky boy (Apollo) had gastroentiris (sp!) and had to go into the vets. whilst there he suffered from some sort of fit and sadly died instantly.

The other little girl - can't remember what she has been called, but her owners sent me a letter and some pictures of her. She is totally adored and worshipped and they couldn't be happier with her.

Not quite Bear (Ben), was not accepted by the other dogs to start with. New owners persevered and he then settled into the group dynamics but have not heard from them since Feb.

Love your pic of Bodo - he's quite handsome for a sable!!!

They change SO much, don't they?
Sorry to hear about Apollo
frown.gif
but glad that the rest of the litter are doing so well - I hope you are chuffed with yourself
smile.gif

And I love your comment to the police
tongue.gif

SABLES RULE!

I was looking at some earlier pics and he was soooo dark. He has now got grey hairs showing through his coat.

Probably not the best comment to have made to the cops!! But I was livid!

As far as chuffed goes - I just think I was phenomenally lucky that I ended up with such a nice litter of pups. I met a couple at the show who have been looking for over a year for a GSD but haven't been able to find what they are looking for. When I asked them to describe what they wanted they pointed and Bear and said one exactly like him!!! I don't think I will ever be able to have another though. I would never be able to replace Bear.

Bear rules all GSD's!!! All the sables are servants to him!!!!

All GSDs should worship at the altar of Bear's ears
smile.gif

And don't do yourself down - they are a credit to you and I am so pleased that you clearly have a great ambassador for the breed (even if jogger woman doesn't agree)

Got it (I think) Delridge Iona. You'll probably tell me now she wasn't a sable
blush.gif

Oh bugger ! Well I def have the feeling it was a Delridge or Kurtlee I am thinking of, gold sable (I can tell the difference
tongue.gif
) with a very glamorous coat. Its really going to bug me now
frown.gif

Sorry TE for hijacking your post.

Nope, I thought of it, was either her or K Seffe of D at F (my favourite long-winded showname ever), but Mum confirmed that Seffe was very dark...I am Queen of the Geeks....

And to cut a long story short, she was a beautiful female and I would be pleased if someone compared my bitch to her TE
smile.gif

It wsa you mentinning Seffe that got me thinking along the Kurtlee/Delridge lines, but I did manage to remember she was dark. I'll know where to come when I am trying to remember names from the past.
And yes, TE it was a compliment that Wroxy reminded me of her
